In Claude open Settings, then Connectors, and search for “Chiostro” among the available connectors. On team plans an administrator enables it once for everyone.

Chiostro is listed in Claude's connector directory. Add it in a minute and query the official sources of Italian law from the conversation you are already working in: legislation in force, case law and regulatory practice, every statement with a reference to the source it comes from.

- Search the sources
- Chiostro returns the relevant provisions, decisions and regulatory documents, each with its title, the link to the official publication and an excerpt of the actual text. No generated answer: only sources to open.
Search Chiostro for the rules on a tenant's withdrawal from a residential lease.
- Ask for a reasoned answer
- Chiostro answers the question using only the sources it retrieved, with numbered references and the list of sources cited. Quotations are compared word for word with the text of the source, and every [n] reference points to a source Chiostro actually retrieved.
Ask Chiostro what the deadline is to challenge a dismissal given in writing.
- Check what is still in force
- Paste a contract, a pleading or a memo: for every provision cited, Chiostro says whether it is in force, repealed or partly repealed, and by which act. The verdict is not decided by a language model.
Check with Chiostro whether the provisions cited in this clause are still in force.

- When a source found by the search is needed in full, Claude reads it page by page, using the reference the search gave it. The text is what the database holds now: for a provision, the one in force.

Before you connect
- What you need. A Chiostro account, on trial or subscribed, and a Claude plan that lets you add connectors.
- How much you can use it. Requests coming from Claude use tokens from the same balance: they count like questions asked on the website. Same free trial (1 million tokens), same subscription, same technical limits, set out in the Terms. If an action comes too soon after the previous one, Chiostro asks you to wait a few seconds: the same happens on the website.
- Which Chiostro answers. Inside Claude the source search runs a single pass and normally answers in a few seconds; the question to Chiostro answers through its direct route, in one or two minutes. In-depth research, which works longer on complex cases, is for now used from Chiostro itself.
- Ready-made commands. In Claude's command menu you will find three shortcuts for the connector: “Reasoned answer from the sources”, “Check the provisions cited in a document” and “Read a provision or a decision”. Pick the one you need and fill in the single field it asks for.
- What Chiostro sees. Only the text Claude sends with each request. Questions asked this way stay in your history, like the others. As always, do not include names of people: describe the facts anonymously.
- How to disconnect. From Chiostro's Connectors page, under “Assistenti collegati” (connected assistants), or from Claude's settings. The connection expires anyway after 90 days without use: Claude will then ask you to sign in again.
- Other assistants. The connector follows the open MCP standard: an assistant that supports it can connect to the same address. We test it with Claude.
